| Equipping the Saints for Many years ago God placed a Kingdom calling on my life. This calling is to help God’s people discover the way to L.I.F.E. Throughout the years I have sat at the feet of others and been taught through the power of the Holy Spirit. I have ministered what I have learned to hundreds of people and found freedom in my own life. It is my belief that it is now time for me to begin to train others in what I have learned, releasing L.I.F.E.throughout the Body of Christ. Please pray about joining us! If you are interested, drop me an e-mail: hershman@ziggycom.net. -- Kathy Course Overview: This is not a course in counseling; rather it is a course that combines a firm foundation of Bible study with the ministry of prayer. It is founded on the promise found in John 10:10 where Jesus said, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” The Greek word life in this scripture is zoe, which has several meanings: Eternal life. When we accept Jesus as Savior, we receive eternal life. But what Jesus did on the cross is more than just giving us life in the hereafter, for He also came for: Absolute fullness of life. Jesus came that we could have absolute fullness of life in the here and now, set free from the wounds of our sins and the sins that others have committed against us. This fullness of life is derived from: Life as a principle. The Kingdom of God is based on principles written in His Word. These Kingdom principles provide for us the keys to understanding how we were created; how the past affects our present; and why we do what we do. L.I.F.E. comes when we combine these Kingdom principles with the divine power of prayer. As we seek absolute fullness of life through applying God's principles and prayer, we will then begin to discover: Life as God has it. Life as God’s desire for His people - living in freedom everyday! Subjects covered in this course are those that experience has shown to be the most prominent and universal regardless of one’s personal life experiences (See schedule for subject matter). This course is for those who are seeking their own L.I.F.E. and those who have the desire to minister L.I.F.E. to others. It will be an experiential learning environment. That is, learning the principle then applying it through ministering one to another. Schedule All classes will be held on Tuesday evenings at Ogden United Methodist Church (next door to The Prayer Center) 305 West Main Street, Princeton. 6:00-7:30 - Teaching/Question and Answer time 7:30-8:30 - Ministering one to another Prerequisite This ministry requires that one has the understanding and basic skills to hear from God. If you have not practiced this discipline, or need a refresher, a class will be held on Tuesday, September 28th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. October 5 Introduction: Learn how we are created; how healing takes place; and how to minister to the source and origin of one’s pain. October 12 Forgiving: Learn what forgiving really means and why it is the #1 issue affecting God’s people today. October 19 Rejection vs. Pride: Learn why the outward appearance of these two are the same, but why the ability to overcome are so different. October 26 Curses and Blessings: Learn why spoken words have power over how we see ourselves. November 2 Oaths and Vows: Learn how oaths and vows work and how they can create a barrier to healing. November 9 Unholy Ties: Learn how one can create an unholy bond with another person. November 16 Generational Sin: Learn how the sins of our ancestors can affect our lives today. NOVEMBER 23 - NO CLASS THANKSGIVING BREAK November 20 The Father’s Wound: Learn the responsibilities of the father and how their absence can affect us. December 7 False Religions and the Occult: Learn the difference between true and false religion and why so many Christians are being deceived today.
