Christ is to lead others to extravagantly worship God in spirit and truth.  He is anointed to impart a passion for
God through worship, as well as teach on practical aspects prophetic worship and prophesying in song.  Don

Kathy served for ten years in her local United Methodist Church as Coordinator of Programs. There she
helped church members discover the passion and power they contain to serve in the church. During that same
time period, she also worked as a curriculum writer and consultant for Cokesbury and Abington Press, and
writing articles for Church Leader Today magazine.

From there she went on to serve for three years as the Program Coordinator in her District where she worked
with pastors and lay leaders to help them to release the passion and power for ministry in their own churches.

During this time, The Prayer Center was started as a joint ministry of the District and her local United
Methodist Church. Being led by the Lord, Kathy then resigned from her District position to serve as the
Director of The Prayer Center. Here she spent nine years being involved in prayer ministry and teaching
others how to do the same.

Today she travels with husband Don teaching others what she has discovered in her years of ministry.

Don and Kathy also minister through Huruma Ministeries, which exists to assist, encourage and empower
struggling churches in the Kibera slums and the rural areas of Nairobi, Kenya.
